Netsuite's Consolidated Exchange Rate

Hi,

In Netsuite One world account, consolidate exchange rate maintains exchange rates between base currency and currency from other subsidiary.Consolidated exchange rates include three different rate types per period and subsidiary pair: Current, Average, and Historical.

The Consolidated Exchange Rates table is available at Lists > Accounting > Consolidated Exchange Rates. Consolidated exchange rates ensure that currency amounts translate properly from child to parent subsidiaries for consolidated reports. The page includes consolidated exchange rates between the base currencies of each subsidiary and its parent or grandparent subsidiary for a specified accounting period.

When ever a new Accounting period is setup, NetSuite automatically populates the Consolidated Exchange rates table for this new period. The consolidated rate it populates is derived from the Currency exchange rate on the day the new period is created.
