Netsuite Tutorials: How to use preference for defining name of parent and child for Entity , Item and Account in Netsuite ?
Hi All,
When we create Sub Account , Sub Item or Sub Entity , Naming convention is very important.
If we see list then we can easily see space in start for sub account, entity and sub items.
Parent account
Subaccount 1
Subaccount 2
There is one more method to show name like
Parent account
Parent account: Subaccount 1
Parent account: Subaccount 2
Netsuite Provide Preference to change Name of child/sub records.
Go to Home -> Preference -> General -> Default
There are 3 preference
1. Only Show Last Subaccount
2. Only Show Last Subentity
3. Only Show Last Subitem
If these checkbox is checked then all 2 record type's record will show like this:
Parent account
Subaccount 1
Subaccount 2
If we uncheck then all 3 record type's records will show like :
Parent account
Parent account: Subaccount 1
Parent account: Subaccount 2
Please let me know if you need any help.
Thanks
Abhi
