Netsuite Non Inventory Part/Item

Hi All,

Non Inventory items are those items which you always drop ship or other items which you can sell or purchase but you do not stock but still you can record it and tracked it.


Example:
Lets say you are selling item A, your vendor XYZ is selling this item,
You don't want to keep it in stock and want to order only when someone order it.
In this case create it as Non Inventory Drop ship item , when some order , lines will be marked as
drop ship and PO will be created when approved.

There are 3 type of Inventory Item:
Non-inventory for sale – to sell items you custom create for each order
Non-inventory for purchase – office supplies you purchase but do not sell
Non-inventory for resale – drop-ship items that you do not store but you sell directly from the vendor

Please Note:
This record is fully scriptable, server side as well as client side , both script work on this record.
Internal id of this record is "noninventoryitem".
