Not good in Netsuite scripting No worries

 Hi, 

We get many message daily about their struggle in Netsuite's SuiteScript, things often become complicated for those who are from non technical background. Even for technical person ( who may not be code lover) often feel that scripting some times become very complicated. 

Netsuite started in 1998 but picked up really well after 2011. Back in 2011 , very few people were aware of Netsuite, Netsuite has around 5000 customers. As of now things go changed in Netsuite, they are not part of oracle, 40,000+ customers. No doubt, Netsuite created lot of jobs in market,don't forget to include Sales force and integration tools. 

Netsuite also reinvented itself many times, changed UI, introduced new APIs, added almost all features. Netsuite now update suiteflows to add logic for sublists also. 

All these new features actually reduced burden on scripts, user can perform/add many customization without any need to code. 

Now coming to our topic, There is good opportunities in Administrator and functional jobs. Every company really need person who can understand Netsuite well , try to utilize existing features first.
If you don't want to code in Netsuite, try administrator role , if you are good in understanding business or want to work with Business then go for functional role.

You can start with admin and after few years of experience apply for Functional roles. If you have Good understanding of Netsuite's objects, you can work with Integration team and you can try for management positions too.

Overall, if you are not feeling comfortable in writing code, don't worry , try other stuffs in Netsuite. Give your self 3-4 years of time to learn and implement. Netsuite is great tool, this helped alot of businesses , gave jobs to lot of people ( including us) and will surely change your life too.
