Netsuite's Billing Account

Hi All,


Billing Account is part of SuiteBilling module, this should be enabled before use. This record shows all billing information related to customer and subcustomer.This includes Billing schedule, defaults payment terms, ship to address and currency.

Netsuite allow multiple billing accounts for a customer/sub customers for different type of billing.
Example: for a company which has many franchises, every year licencising fee and maintenance fee can be charged to parent customer and service bills can be charges to sub customers.
User can use different bill account at the time of creation of transactions.

There are 2 ways to create Billing Account :
1. Lists > Relationships > Billing Accounts > New.
2. Open Customer, click on Billing Account subtab, click new.
enter details and save.

To enable SuiteBilling features:

1. Go to Setup > Company > Setup Tasks > Enable Features.
   
2. Click the Transactions subtab.
   
3. In the Billing section, check the following boxes:
   
   • Bill Costs to Customers
     
   • Advanced Billing
     
   • Charge-Based Billing
     
   • Billing Accounts
     
   • Billing Operations
     
   • Subscription Billing
     
   • Advanced Subscription Billing
     

 user can also enable ad on item, time base pricing.
