Hi All, Today I got chance to work on creation of Journal Entry using Script. What is Journal Entry Record? A general journal entry records debits and credits to be posted to ledger accounts. General journal entries adjust the value of any set of accounts without entering transactions such as invoices or bills. Basically Netsuite does all those things but if ledge is not proper then you can do this manually using amount only . There can be many source of data for getting amount and account, there are 2 field where we have to enter debit amount and credit amount . Debit and credit amount should be same, only difference is that Account should be different. So lets say one is " Revenue from Amazon "  and second one is " Revenue from Partner ", and you want to Add First one as Credit and second one as Debit account. Now lets say you have invoice of USD104.33 then you have to add 2 lines , one for Credit of 104.33 for account Revenue From Amazon second ...

Hi All, while making reports, most of the times situation comes where there is only one record is result BUT netsuite is not showing columns ,inspite of this showing record it self. How to deal with this? Like mentioned in previous post, go to Set Preference and then click on A n alytics Tab, There you will see one checkbox field " Show List When Only One Result " Click this checkbox and next time on-wards you will see columns you mentioned in search result if 1 result is satisfying criteria. Hi All, I saw this question is asked by many Netsuite developers. I saw a trend of avg 2lakhs per annum multiplied by no of years experience. So if you have 2 year of experience you can easily get 4  lakhs of package in India. Outside india (in US $) developer can easily get 80K to 120k depending upon experience. Unlike server side programming , Netsuite has more package and job interviews are also easy. Netsuite has 4 major part : 1. Custmization : mostly called admins 2. Scripting : most of the developer know customization too. 3. Web service: this helps in utilizing netsuite web services and with the help of server side programming like java ,c# or php make web apps or window apps. 4. E-commerce: this is mostly designibg part but require scripting too. This is newly added feature and very famous since last few years.
