Hello Dear Reader,  Previous to 2020.1, user can define, visualize ,  analyze workbook source data in a single workbook object. As of 2020.1, Netsuite separate workbook and datasets.  In a dataset, user define workbook source data by selecting record types, fields, and criteria for further analysis in a workbook. Currently data can be visualized in  tables , pivot tables , and charts formats. Only dataset owners and users with administrator permissions can edit the datasets in account. User can create new Dataset as well as use existing dataset to create workbook. As we mentioned dataset and workbook, you might be interested in knowing more about them.
